When we have the opportunity to do good to anyone, we should do it.
Galatians 6:10
As President Ronald Reagan once said,
“We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.”
In a world that feels increasingly marked by brokenness, confusion, and overwhelming need, it is easy to wonder if what we do truly makes a difference.
But Ronald Reagan’s words remind us of a simple truth: we are not called to solve everything, only called to step into the moment God places before us—and be faithful there. That truth comes to life every day through Wellspring Life Ministry. One person. One moment. One act of compassion at a time. That is exactly what your gifts make possible every single day.
Recently, a young woman—we’ll call her Alisha—came to us for what she thought was a routine well-woman visit. It was care she had gone without for years because she did not have insurance coverage and simply couldn’t afford it. Then she found the free services offered by Wellspring Life Ministry’s Women’s Clinics and made an appointment.
After Alisha’s comprehensive exam, our Nurse Practitioner, Lianna, shared that we already had results from one of the tests we routinely run: a pregnancy test. That was the one test Alisha hadn’t given a thought to, one test result, and suddenly Alisha was facing an unexpected pregnancy.
Taken aback, Alisha was in shock. She hadn’t expected to need this kind of help. But because of our partner support, in Alisha’s time of uncertainty, she found compassion, a listening ear, and the offer of an ultrasound, all at no cost. Though unsure of her next step, she said yes to the ultrasound.
And then… she saw, what before felt unreal, became undeniable.
A tiny life.
In that moment, something shifted. With new clarity, Alisha began to reconsider her options.
“It would not be fair to the baby for me to be its parent,” Alisha shared with her counselor. “I can only think about myself right now.”
She asked to meet with a counselor to learn more about adoption—something she had never seriously considered before.
Alisha came to the Women’s Clinic for one service, Well Woman care. She left equipped with life-affirming knowledge, and the assurance that we are here for her and she is not alone.
This is the impact which your financial partnership will make.
Every day, women like Alisha walk through our doors in unexpected, often overwhelming circumstances. With your partnership, they are met with dignity, truth, medical care, and the hope of the Gospel.
Your generosity ensures that:
- She can find us online in the moment she is searching
- A real, compassionate person answers when she reaches out
- Licensed medical professionals are ready to care for her
- Life-affirming options are clearly and lovingly presented
- She is prayed for and as appropriate, the Gospel is shared
All services we offer, including Well Woman care, are designed to help us connect with women potentially at-risk for abortion. We cannot help every woman—but together, we are helping as many as God brings to us… one life at a time.
Today, I invite you to step into that calling. Would you prayerfully consider a gift to Wellspring Life Ministry?
When you partner financially, you become the answer in someone’s moment of uncertainty. You become the “someone” who helps women and their pre-born babies.
As we read in Galatians 6:10, “When we have the opportunity to do good to anyone, we should do it.”
Be the one.
In Christ,
Pamela Palumbo
