Our next Volunteer Training Course is scheduled to begin Wednesdays beginning March 11, 2026 (9:30am to 12:30pm) at Faith Community Church in Gambrills, MD. The course will run for 9 weeks.
The Volunteer Training Course is a stimulating and interactive series of classes designed to prepare individuals for lay counseling in Wellspring Life Ministry. However, it has value for other life and ministry situations, as well. This class welcomes both male and female participants and lasts 9 weeks.
Using the Bible as a guide, the Volunteer Training Course covers a variety of ministry topics and skills:
Training Topics Include:
- Counseling and Communication Skills
- Understanding Abortion Procedures and Risks
- Bringing the Gospel Message into a Conversation
- Discussing Sexual Choices and Decisions
- Opening up Thoughts on Adoption
There is a $40 fee for the Training Manual. Scholarships are available for those in financial need. (There is no charge for the class itself.)
To register:
- Submit payment for the Training Manual.
- Complete the Volunteer Training Course application form.
